Taco Madre Expanding to Braselton with Second Location

Taco Madre is set to open its second location at 6323 Grand Hickory Dr 200 A&B, Braselton, GA 30517 by late March or early April. Owned by husband-and-wife team Mayra and Ramon Carrillo, the new restaurant will expand on the success of their Oakwood location, offering a full-service experience with a bar and seating for up to 200 guests.

The menu will feature a blend of authentic Mexican dishes and Tex-Mex favorites. The Braselton location will also include a private dining room for special events, accommodating up to 60 guests.

Damasco Arabian Food, known for its Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine, is expanding from catering to a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 3099 Breckinridge Blvd Suite 106/A, Duluth, GA 30096. After serving the North Atlanta area through catering for two years, the company is now preparing for its next step.

7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant Opening New Location in Marietta

7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant is expanding its footprint with a new location opening in late February or early March at 115 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060. This marks the fifth location for the family-owned business, which first opened in Holly Springs in 2008 and has since expanded to Canton, Cumming, and Johns Creek.

Known for authentic Mexican cuisine, 7 Tequilas offers scratch-made dishes, including fresh tortillas and a cocktail menu crafted with fresh juices. The Marietta location will feature 120 indoor seats and a 20-seat bar, providing a casual yet high-quality dining experience.

Palm 78 Expanding to Mableton with New Location

Palm 78 is bringing its upscale American steakhouse concept to 6025 Riverview Rd SE, Mableton, GA 30126 toward the end of the year. Stitch Coffee Opening in Canton

Stitch Coffee, a new family-owned café, will open in late February 2025 at 135 Reinhardt College Pkwy #2, Canton, GA 30114. Co-owners David and Geralyn Hickey, along with their daughters Sarah Medranda and Anna Dower, are bringing their passion for coffee and community to Georgia after operating the highly praised Coffee Potter in New Jersey.

The café will feature house-made baked goods, breakfast and lunch bites from local vendors, and favorites from their former shop, including Linda’s Biscotti, New Yorker Bagels, and gluten-free, vegan Energy Bites. Stitch Coffee aims to offer a welcoming space for guests to meet, relax, and connect.

Mosaic Bistro and Pub to Bring Global Flavors to Brookhaven This Summer

Chef Joey Riley, formerly of Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub, is plannig to open Mosaic Bistro and Pub this summer at 5251 Peachtree Blvd, Chamblee, GA 30341. The restaurant will feature a 2,200-square-foot indoor dining space for 80 guests, plus a patio with 60 additional seats.

Mosaic Bistro and Pub will offer a globally inspired menu blending Asian, Italian, and American influences. It will serve dinner daily, with brunch on weekends and plans to expand to lunch service in the future.

Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar Expanding to Lithonia This March

Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar is opening a new location in Lithonia this March at 2657 Panola Rd, Lithonia, GA 30058. Known for its Southern-style chicken and vibrant atmosphere, the restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, along with a full bar and late-night service.

Mission Burger Co. Bringing Plant-Based Burgers to Atlanta

Mission Burger Co., a popular plant-based restaurant from Austin, TX, is expanding to Atlanta with a new location at 2065 Defoors Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The restaurant is expected to open by the end of this quarter, offering its signature plant-based burgers, sandwiches, BBQ brisket plates, and breakfast burritos.

The new spot will feature a diner-inspired vibe with seating for 15–18 guests. Owner Isaac Mogannam shared that Mission Burger Co. will blend a classic burger counter feel with a fully plant-based menu. The Atlanta location will be open seven days a week.
