Momma’s Cup of Rice Opening First Restaurant in Fayetteville
After three years as a food truck, Momma’s Cup of Rice is opening its first brick-and-mortar location at 369 Fayette Pl, Fayetteville, GA.
Owner Marissa Kelly, inspired by her grandmother’s recipes, will continue serving rice bowls topped with chicken, steak, and shrimp, while expanding the menu with appetizers, desserts, and mocktails. The food truck will remain in operation, and the restaurant is set to open in April.
UnbelieVegan Opening First Restaurant in Fairburn
After three years as a pop-up, UnbelieVegan is launching a brick-and-mortar location at 8040 Senoia Rd in Fairburn.
Set to open in April, the restaurant will offer full-service dining, takeout, and a bar with seating for up to 50 guests. The menu, crafted by longtime vegan Donte Beasley, features plant-based takes on crab cake sliders, jackfruit Philly sandwiches, and vegan beef tip ribs. Friday and Saturday nights will include live entertainment, with game-day events for major sports.

MRR’s Deli Gearing Up for Kennesaw Opening
MRR’s Deli is nearing completion and plans a soft opening between March and April, with a grand opening set for June at 3055 N Main St Suite 101, Kennesaw, GA. La Scogliera di Positano Expanding to Mableton in March
La Scogliera di Positano Pizza is set to open its newest location in Mableton by mid-March, bringing its Italian classics and full bar to the area. The restaurant will also debut Julia’s Corner, a café opening at 7 a.m. with coffee and baked goods. Located along the Beltline, it will cater to both diners and trail visitors.

Palm 78 Expanding to Mableton with Elevated Steakhouse Concept
Palm 78 is bringing its upscale American steakhouse from Alpharetta to Mableton, with plans to open by year-end at 6025 Riverview Rd SE. The new location will offer a refined menu featuring steaks, seafood, lamb, and pasta, along with a newly introduced brunch menu. The restaurant will seat 120 guests indoors, promising a sophisticated dining experience.

7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant Expanding to Marietta
7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant is set to open its fifth location at 115 Church St in Marietta by early March. Known for its scratch-made Mexican cuisine and fresh-ingredient cocktails, the family-owned restaurant will feature 120 indoor seats and a 20-seat bar. The expansion continues its growth from Holly Springs, Canton, Cumming, and Johns Creek.

Hummus Republic Opening Soon in Lawrenceville
Fast-casual Mediterranean spot Hummus Republic is set to open at 1942 Atkinson Rd NW 650, Lawrenceville, later this month or early next. The restaurant will serve wraps, bowls, and pita sandwiches, with plans to expand to Johns Creek and Alpharetta next year.

Damasco Arabian Food Opening First Restaurant in Duluth
Damasco Arabian Food, a catering company specializing in Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine, is expanding with a dine-in restaurant at 3099 Breckinridge Blvd Suite 106/A in Duluth. After serving North Atlanta through catering for two years, the company is now preparing to welcome guests at its first brick-and-mortar location in the coming months.

Taco Madre is opening a second location at 6323 Grand Hickory Dr in Braselton, expanding from its Oakwood restaurant. The new taqueria will offer full-service dining, a bar, and seating for 200 guests, with a private dining room for special events. Expected to open between late March and early April.

Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar Opening in Lithonia This March
Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar is bringing its Southern-style chicken and lively atmosphere to Lithonia with a new location at 2657 Panola Rd. Opening in March, the restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, alongside a full bar and late-night hours, with seating for 241 guests.

Mosaic Bistro and Pub Coming to Brookhaven This Summer
Chef Joey Riley, formerly of Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub, is launching Mosaic Bistro and Pub at 5251 Peachtree Blvd in Chamblee this summer (location pending lease finalization). The restaurant will feature globally inspired cuisine, a 2,200-square-foot dining space for 80 guests, and a patio with 60 additional seats. Dinner will be served daily, with brunch on weekends and plans for future lunch service.

MoMo Bros Gourmet Bringing Bodega-Style Eats to Atlanta’s West End
MoMo Bros Gourmet is set to open in April at 806 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, near Clark Atlanta’s campus. Founded by Ethan Drakes, the restaurant expands on his successful MoMo Bros Bodega food truck, offering Brooklyn-style classics like chopped cheese, oxtail mac and cheese, cold-cut sandwiches, and specialty coffee. Inspired by his Morehouse roots and family culinary background, Drakes aims to provide an affordable late-night dining spot for students. The food truck will continue serving Morehouse and beyond.
