Island Wing Company Expanding with Two New Locations in Jacksonville Area
Island Wing Company is bringing two new locations to the greater Jacksonville area, offering its healthier twist on the sports bar experience. Known for baking traditionally fried items, the restaurant features wings, burgers, tacos, and more, along with a full bar and plenty of TVs for sports fans.
Owner Shane Powers shared that the first new location will open this March at 1609 County Rd 220, Fleming Island, FL 32003, featuring 60 TVs and the full menu.
A second location is planned for Q4 2024 on Beach Boulevard in the Tamaya district. This 10,500-square-foot restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating for 350 guests, with ground-up construction currently in progress.

Diamond’s Billiards and Sports Bar Opening Soon in Jacksonville
Diamond’s Billiards and Sports Bar is bringing a premier pool hall and sports bar experience to 2777 University Blvd W #12, Jacksonville, FL 32217. Co-owner Faheem Zia shared that the venue will feature 16 Diamond pool tables, leagues, tournaments, a full bar with beer on tap, and a menu of classic bar food.
The bar will be open seven days a week until 2 a.m., offering a go-to spot for pool enthusiasts and sports fans. Zia, also a partner in Que-Phoria in Orlando—one of the top pool halls in the city—aims to bring the same high-quality experience to Jacksonville.

Duval Fish Company Opening This Fall in Jacksonville
Duval Fish Company will bring fresh, Florida-sourced seafood to 4323 Herschel St, Jacksonville, FL 32210 later this year. Co-owner Tito Quinones shared that the restaurant will repurpose a historic service station that has been vacant since 1974, creating a casual, full-service dining experience with seating for 122 guests.
Quinones, along with his brother Wyatt Griesemer and John Williams, aims to offer an accessible yet high-quality seafood option along San Juan Avenue. Construction is set to begin in March, with a planned opening in the fall. Quinones also operates Eat Happy Jax, a local food truck and catering business.

B Mac's Buffet Opening Third Location in Jacksonville
B Mac's Buffet is bringing its family-style country cooking to Jacksonville with a new location at 900 Dunn Ave #10, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Set to open early next month, the buffet will offer seating for 168 guests.
Known for its home-style buffet dining, B Mac's features a variety of classic dishes with seafood specials on weekends. This will be the third location for the brand, joining existing spots in Callahan, FL, and Waycross, GA.

Stratosphere Restaurant and Lounge Opening Soon in Jacksonville
Stratosphere Restaurant and Lounge is set to open at 8132 Lem Turner Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32208 toward the end of February. The restaurant will offer a relaxed dine-in experience with classic comfort foods and a lounge atmosphere.
The menu will feature a mix of favorites like hibachi, egg rolls, salads, wings, tacos, and subs, along with hookah service for guests. The space will seat around 66 guests inside.
