The Health Bar
Expanding its footprint in Brevard County, The Health Bar is preparing to open two new locations, bringing its popular menu of acai bowls, smoothies, salads, toasts, and shakes to more customers. The first location, opening soon in West Melbourne at 1543 W New Haven Ave, will be situated near Planet Fitness and Orange Theory. Designed with an earthy, minimalist aesthetic, the space will feature natural wood accents, greenery, and seating for over 30 guests. A new addition to this location will be a "relax and recharge" station, offering a bar top with USB ports and charger stations for those looking to unwind or work while enjoying their meal.
A second location is planned for Titusville at 696 Cheney Hwy, though an opening timeline has not yet been announced. Owners Amanda LaPage and Fen Ireus continue to expand the brand’s presence in Brevard County, focusing on providing fresh, healthy options in a welcoming environment.
Munchies En Ruedas
After gaining popularity with its food truck, Munchies En Ruedas is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Melbourne this April. Located at 1248 Sarno Rd, the new space will seat around 50 guests and offer an expanded menu while staying true to its authentic Mexican flavors. New dishes will include tacos trompo, ceviche, and other specialties. The food truck will continue to operate for catered events after the restaurant opens.

The Native Bar and Grill
Set to open in July, The Native Bar and Grill will bring Florida-inspired cuisine to Titusville at 2430 S Washington Ave. Owners Jessie and Shawn Landry, known for local spots like Third Culture Kitchen and Moonlight Drive-In, are incorporating nostalgic elements, including Dave’s Original Orange Julius, a former Miracle City Mall favorite. The menu will feature locally sourced ingredients, including shrimp, boiled peanuts, and fried gator. With seating for 150, including an 18-seat full bar, the restaurant will serve lunch and dinner daily, with breakfast available on weekends.
Taste of the Islands
Expanding from its small Melbourne Beach location, Taste of the Islands is set to open in Palm Bay at the beginning of next month. The new restaurant, located at 1851 Palm Bay Rd NE, will be three times the size of its original space, seating around 80 guests. It will maintain its core menu of Latin and island-inspired cuisine while introducing new dishes, offering an expanded dining experience in its larger location.

Fat Shack
Bringing its late-night comfort food to Melbourne, Fat Shack is set to open in March at 2447 N Wickham Rd. Known for its indulgent Fat Sandwiches loaded with fried favorites like chicken fingers, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks, the menu also features wings, burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, and fried desserts. With late-night hours extending to 1 a.m. on weekdays and 3 a.m. on weekends, Fat Shack aims to serve night owls and college students from nearby Eastern Florida State College.

Mystic Lobster
Expanding its national presence, Mystic Lobster opened a full-service restaurant in Cocoa recently. The new location at 109 Brevard Ave seats 125 guests and features a full bar.
Best known for its Maine-style lobster rolls, the menu also includes Maine lobster tails, Maryland-style crab cakes, haddock, and whole belly clams. A happy hour running Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. will offer discounts on snow crab, Maine lobster tails, oysters, and more.
Mystic Lobster, founded by Phil Tretola in 2020, continues to grow with several locations across Florida.
