Chicken Salad Chick Opening in Clearwater This Summer

Chicken Salad Chick is planning to open a new location in Clearwater later this summer, franchisee Paul Rohr told Business Debut. The upcoming restaurant will take over the former Pollo Tropical space at 2140 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33765, with renovations currently underway.

Rohr shared that the space has been fully gutted, and remodeling is about to begin. The Clearwater unit is expected to offer indoor seating for 88 guests along with a drive-through for convenient pick-up. If construction progresses as planned, the opening will likely land in August.

As with other Chicken Salad Chick grand openings, Rohr and his wife—who own five additional locations—plan to give away free chicken salad to the first 100 guests in line. The first person will receive one pound of chicken salad per week for a year, while the next 99 guests can claim one pound each month for twelve months.

The couple’s first location opened in Palm Harbor in 2015. That unit is currently undergoing reconstruction following an overnight electrical fire that caused significant damage.
