Craft Brewery With Duckpin Bowling Coming to Bainbridge, GA

Smooth Brewing Co. is bringing a craft brewery, duckpin bowling lanes, and a restaurant to Bainbridge in a 6,000-square-foot space, with plans to open toward the end of summer if construction stays on schedule, ownership shared with Business Debut.

Located at 409 N Broad St, Bainbridge, GA 39817, the brewery will offer indoor and outdoor seating in both the front and back, featuring roll-up garage doors and projection screens inside and out for sports viewing. The space will include four lanes of duckpin bowling, as well as darts, pinball, and TVs throughout the venue.

The kitchen will serve classic bar food such as smash burgers, flatbreads, salads, and a kids' menu.

Upon entering, guests will see Smooth Brewing Co.’s brewing equipment and a bar serving their house-made beer, hard seltzer, and potentially red and white wine. Moving further into the space, past the kitchen, guests will find duckpin bowling, additional games, and a second bar for both indoor and patio guests.

Beer drinkers can expect IPAs, sours, lagers, wheat beers, stouts, and more.

Brewer, co-owner, and general manager Drew Kelley shared that he intends Smooth Brewing Co. to be a family-friendly environment for the community to gather in.

His passion for brewing, he said, was ignited by a simple stove top brewing kit that his wife gifted him nearly six years ago. He quipped that his first batch wasn’t great, but it was beer, and that was enough.
