Fat Boyz BBQ is expanding to downtown Fort Lauderdale this spring, ownership confirmed with Business Debut. What started as a backyard barbecue venture has grown in popularity in South Florida with previous brick and mortar locations and a food truck.
The new location will offer quick-service barbecue and daily lunch specials priced at $10.99, available Monday through Thursday. Specials will include jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, fried fish, brisket sandwiches, burgers, and other proteins, served with one side and a refillable drink. Fat Boyz BBQ is also well known for its burnt ends, beef ribs, collard greens, and other Southern staples.
Catering is a key part of the business, offering last-minute, same-day catering services for those needing quick, high-quality barbecue for events.
The new Fort Lauderdale location will have seating for 24 guests inside and 12 more outside, with a target opening in mid-April.
