First Craft Brewery in Vidalia, GA Opening Soon
Expected to open later this month, Ohoopee River Brewing Company will serve craft beer and a menu of classic pub dishes .
Ohoopee River Brewing Company is set to open a new brewery and pub in Vidalia, marking the city’s first craft brewery, owner Shane Harrelson shared with Business Debut. The brewery is expected to open by the end of the month at 200 E 1st St, Vidalia, GA 30474.
The space will offer seating for 40+ guests inside and an additional 40 to 50 outside. The food menu will feature classic pub fare, including pizza, wings, burgers, and more. The brewery will also have 12 taps pouring craft beer, with Harrelson noting a particular passion for brewing IPAs.

Named after the Ohoopee River, which flows through southeast Georgia, the brewery aims to reflect what its website describes as the "unhurried, unfettered, and sometimes unusual spirit of southern river people."
