Glass Bottom Tavern Bringing New Bar to Sarasota
Opening mid-May, the bar will likely feature 20 beer taps and more.
An new addition to the Sarasota bar scene is underway with the opening of Glass Bottom Tavern, set to bring a neighborhood beer and wine bar to Fruitville Road.
Co-owner Cooper Witt shared with Business Debut the vision for this new business, located at: 5045 Fruitville Rd #169, Sarasota, FL 34232. The tavern plans to serve beer and wine, with around 20 beers on tap and more in bottles and cans, complemented by light snacks for guests.
To cater to those who enjoy beverages with a twist, they are considering offering wine cocktails as well. Cooper Witt, along with co-owners Erin and Michael Bolton, have recently secured their lease and are in the process of cleaning and executing light remodeling. If all goes according to plan, the opening is scheduled for mid-May.
Glass Bottom Tavern will offer roughly 30-40 seats indoors, with operating hours anticipated to be around 4-10pm, adjusting based on customer preferences.
