Hattricks Tavern, a downtown Tampa institution for nearly three decades, is expanding with a new grab-and-go concept in South Tampa. Owners David Mangione and Steve Mace told Business Debut that the new location at 4075 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629 will allow guests to enjoy Hattricks’ iconic menu without the trip into downtown.

The building currently on-site, formerly home to Sun Country Cleaners, will be razed to make way for a new 1,100-square-foot structure designed specifically for takeout and grab and go orders. There will be no indoor seating, but a small patio will be available for those who want to enjoy their food on the spot. The layout is being designed with guidance from well-known Tampa chef Chris Ponte to ensure the kitchen is optimized for high-efficiency service.

The location will cater to both car and golf cart traffic and will also support the restaurant’s growing catering operations. Ownership is exploring whether they’ll be able to offer takeaway six-packs or other packaged alcohol for guests to enjoy once they’ve reached their destinations.

This food-forward Hattricks concept will give longtime fans and new customers a quicker, more convenient way to access the tavern’s well-loved menu away from downtown.

They are currently planning for a fall 2025 opening.
