J Michael’s Tavern & Grille Opening Soon in Stuart

J Michael’s Tavern & Grille is preparing to open in Stuart, owner and namesake Jeff Michael Groth shared with Business Debut. With a decades-long entrepreneurial career that has included dozens of restaurants and even a waterbed manufacturing business (in the 80's), Groth is bringing his experience to this new full-service concept.

The restaurant will seat up to 250 guests across indoor and outdoor areas and feature two full bars, including an outdoor space called J Michael’s Margarita Bar. Guests can expect a menu of refined American dishes like 10 oz hamburgers, steaks, jambalaya, shrimp and grits, and more. The restaurant is targeting a May 1st opening at the former Red Grill Mexican Restaurant space at 715 NW Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994. Groth has partnered with entrepreneur Kurt Holden to bring the concept to Stuart.

Originally started in Minnesota, the J Michael’s brand is now making its way to Florida. Groth emphasized the importance of quality food and service, sharing that he’s always focused on “selling in your own four walls” by making guest experience so good that they recommend his restaurants to their friends.
