La Mixteca is bringing its tamale-focused menu to West Midtown in early April, chef Valentine Hernandez shared with Business Debut. The new location will follow the same fast-casual format, featuring up to 12 varieties of tamales daily, along with other staples of Mexican cuisine, with a focus on Oaxacan flavors like mole and more.

Located at 1465 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, the restaurant will have 60 seats and aims to open in April. Hernandez expressed excitement about joining the West Midtown community, sharing that they had been searching for the right location for two years.

Buckhead Eats Ghost Kitchen

In addition to the upcoming West Midtown location, La Mixteca recently launched in the Buckhead Eats ghost kitchen, providing tamale lovers with another way to enjoy their offerings. For more on their Buckhead presence, visit Buckhead Eats.

La Mixteca first opened in Suwanee in 2018 and has since grown into a well-known name in the Atlanta food scene. The family run business draws on its Oaxacan roots for inspiration in its menu and ambiance, Hernandez said. For more details, visit La Mixteca online.
