From Jacksonville to the Panhandle

Scully's Irish Pub

This family-owned Irish pub is slated to open in Fernandina Beach (14 S 2nd St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034) this month, the owner Timothy Poynter reported.

Culver's

The Barbaresco Group LLC is preparing to open a new Culver's in Jacksonville (14011 Hyatt Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). The new location is expected to open in July or August 2025, the co-franchisee told Business Debut.

Dave's Hot Chicken

The brand has plans of opening in Jacksonville (10261 River Marsh Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32246) and Gainesville, according to the area franchisee.

Clift Restaurant & Lounge

Clift Restaurant & Lounge will bring a blend of soul food and American cuisine to Jacksonville (2712 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211) in the next 1-2 months, the owner told Business Debut.

Nicky's Meals and Deals

A new food truck, Nicky's Meals and Deals, is projected to open this month at the corner of Soutel Drive and 5th Street in Jacksonville, across from the car lot, owner Nichole Earvin told Business Debut.

36 Granada

36 Granada is set to open in St. Augustine (36 Granada St, St. Augustine, FL 32084), bringing restaurants Little Miss Ha and The French Pantry together under one roof. The culinary compound is preparing to debut in early October, the partners told Business Debut.

Luther's 78

Luther's 78 is preparing to open its doors in Tallahassee (415 All Saints St #114, Tallahassee, FL 32301), catering to the FSU student crowd and others seeking a late-night dining option, the co-owner reported to Business Debut.

Tropical Jerk Paradise Food Truck

A new food truck, Tropical Jerk Paradise, is set to open in Panama City any day, owner Kareisha Grant Owens told Business Debut. They will offer a unique fusion of Jamaican and American cuisines.

Culver's

A new Culver's is coming to Ormond Beach (655 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174), with a projected December 9th opening, according to the co-franchisee.

Hillbilly Heaven Smoke Shack

A new food trailer, Hillbilly Heaven Smoke Shack, is preparing to bring West Virginia-inspired cuisine to the Daytona area, owner Cinda Chapman told Business Debut.

Vanderbrew

A new craft coffee shop, opened August 12th in Leesburg (201 W Main St, Leesburg, FL 34748), the owner reported to Business Debut.

Omega Bites & Bar

Sanford area restaurateur is bringing a dining and late-night ultra lounge to the area (110 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771). Opening in December, owner Jose Acevedo said.

Esca's Pizza

Esca's Pizza is preparing to open in late September, according to the owner. Find the New York-based pizzeria in Lake Mary (3717 Lake Emma Rd, Lake Mary, FL 32746).

Brooklyn Water Bagel

Brooklyn Water Bagel is expanding to Lake Nona (9368 Narcoossee Road, Suite 101, Orlando, FL 32827) this month, as well as Clermont (2605 S Hwy 27 #101, Clermont, FL 34711) in mid-October. The franchisee shared that he plans to open four more locations in Central Florida.

Coast to Coast Pizza Company

Coast to Coast Pizza Company is opening its third location in the Orlando area (352 Moore Rd, Ocoee, FL 34761). Pizza enthusiasts can expect a grand opening very soon, according to the co-owner.

Hummus Republic

Hummus Republic, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain, is set to open in Oviedo (69 Alafaya Woods Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765) in mid to late September, franchisee Gadah Aziz reported to Business Debut.

Rion's Ocean Room & Gyukatsu Rose

Chef Nguyen is bringing two new restaurant concepts to East End Market in Orlando (3201 Corrine Dr, Orlando, FL 32803). Rion's Ocean Room and Gyukatsu Rose will share the space formerly occupied by Skyebird Juice Bar, Chef Nguyen told Business Debut.

Island Vybz Fusion Grill

Island Vybz Fusion Grill is preparing to open in Orlando (2601 S Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32805). They will serve Caribbean cuisine in a lively atmosphere, owner Yvonne Guthrie told Business Debut.

Nando Grill Carne en Vara

Nando Grill Carne en Vara, known for its Venezuelan steaks served from a fleet of food trucks in South Florida, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Orlando (3060 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819) by the end of September, the owner told Business Debut.

Wandering Smokehouse BBQ

Wandering Smokehouse BBQ, a new BBQ trailer, is gearing up to launch its mobile culinary experience in Orange County, co-owner Cory Stiles reported to Business Debut. He and his partner, Ricky Parker, will serve a variety of BBQ staples including pork, ribs, brisket and chicken.

Violet's Ice Cream

Violet's Ice Cream, a homemade authentic Amish ice cream boutique, is expanding across Florida, owner Jason Turner told Business Debut. Find them in Winter Park (933 N Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789), Orlando (575 S Chickasaw Trail, Orlando, FL 32825), and Miami Beach (506 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139).

Ritara 18 Cafe

Ritara 18 Cafe, formerly a food truck, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar in St Cloud (1020 New York Ave, St Cloud, FL 34769) in mid-September, owner Carmen Fernandez told Business Debut.

Candee Lee's Soul House

Candee Lee's Soul House is set to open this October in Kissimmee (8085 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747), marking one of the first black-owned fast-casual soul food restaurants in the area, according to Chef Tony Tone.

Spot On Grill

Spot On Grill, a new food truck, is set to open in September in Titusville (4111 S Hopkins Ave, Titusville, FL 32780), outside the Cold Spot bar, owner Donn Mount told Business Debut.

Upscale Concept in The Surf At Cocoa Beach

Co-owner Scott Wyman shared that he and his partners are preparing to open an upscale concept in The Surf At Cocoa Beach Condominium, located at 65 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.

Rocket Diner 321

A space-coast food truck is going brick and mortar in Melbourne (2927 W New Haven Ave, Melbourne, FL 32904). Rocket Diner 321 is in the works and plans to open this winter, ownership told Business Debut.

D & I Seafood Plus

A new food truck venture, in the Daytona Beach area soon. Owner Darrin Rogers reported that they wanted to open by the end of September.

Potbelly Sandwich Works

Potbelly Sandwich Works is set to open in Lady Lake (870 US-27, Lady Lake, FL 32159), the first of five planned locations in the area, co-franchisee Zishan Ali reported to Business Debut.

Sear Smoke Island Flavor

A new food truck, Sear Smoke Island Flavor, is preparing to serve Winter Haven and Davenport, owner Jerry Brignol told Business Debut.

Propagation Whiskey Bar & Kitchen

Propagation Whiskey Bar & Kitchen, a new elevated gastro pub, is set to open its doors in Plant City (103 N Palmer St, Plant City, FL 33563) on September 20th, owner Brandon Snyder reported to Business Debut.

Mahogany Scratch Kitchen

Midtown Station

Midtown Station, a new food hall featuring seven distinct vendors, opened in Ocala (235 NE Watula Ave, Ocala, FL 34470) over Labor Day weekend, reported Thomas McDonald.

Slow Bros BBQ

A new food truck, Slow Bros BBQ, is set to hit the streets of Tampa, bringing scratch-made barbecue to local diners. Owner and chef Chad Spinelli confirmed details with Business Debut in early August.

Boujie Bodega

Boujie Bodega, a New York-style bodega during the day and a speakeasy themed restaurant at night, is set to open very soon in Tampa (4217 W Bay to Bay Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629), pending final inspection, according to the owner.

Toss Salads and Wraps

Toss Salads and Wraps is set to open its second location in Seminole (11230 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772) in September, co-owner Christina Battafarano told Business Debut.

Rising Sun Tacos

Reggae Jamaican Grill, a new Caribbean takeout restaurant in Spring Hill (3073 Anderson Snow Rd, Spring Hill, FL 34609) opened its doors on August 2nd, owner Michael Armstrong shared.

Chop N' Smash Shack

A new food truck, Chop N' Smash Shack, launched on Monday, August 26th at 2715 US-19, Holiday, FL 34691, the Shell station on the corner of US 19 and Sunray Drive, co-owner Maud Saeed told Business Debut.

Smash Yo Burgers Food Truck

Smash Yo Burgers, a new food truck concept, is expected to launch in Holiday (5448 Flora Ave, Holiday, FL 34690) this month, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week, owner Mario Boutros told Business Debut.

Florida Cow Creamery

A new ice cream shop, Florida Cow Creamery, is set to open in Holiday (1904 US Hwy 19 N, Holiday, FL 34691). They are still in the pre-construction permitting phase, according to the owner.

Roots Southern BBQ

Owner Josh Ricard launched his family-run mobile kitchen in late August. Roots Southern BBQ will operate in the Ruskin and Apollo Beach areas, Ricard shared with Business Debut.

Land and Sea BBQ

A new food boat is coming to Ana Maria Island, manager Aveus Anderson shared. It is in the earlier stages of development and plans to launch in October.

Origin Craft Beer and Pizza Cafe

Origin Craft Beer and Pizza Cafe is set to open in downtown Sarasota (1371 Boulevard of the Arts #4f, Sarasota, FL 34236), the brand's sixth location, owner Rami Nehme told Business Debut.

La Tortuga Verde

Megan White, owner of La Tortuga Verde, a successful catering and meal delivery service, is opening her first restaurant in Bowling Green (4938 US-17, Bowling Green, FL 33834) in September.

Macarito's

Macarito's, a new fast-casual Mexican restaurant, is soon to open in Sebring (305 Circle Park Dr, Sebring, FL 33870). The eatery aims to offer traditional Mexican dishes in a convenient grab-and-go format, according to Chef Mac Gentleman.

Kinfolk's Fried Chicken

Kinfolk's Fried Chicken, a Southern fast-casual eatery, is set to open its second location in Port St. Lucie (1214 SW Gatlin Blvd #102, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953) in mid-September, the owner shared with Business Debut.

Banh Mi & Tea

Banh Mi & Tea is set to open a new location in Fort Myers (8595 College Pkwy Suite 130, Fort Myers, FL 33919) in October, franchisee Kacey Nguyen reported to Business Debut.

Crazy King Burritos

Crazy King Burritos, a franchise that originated in Mexico, is set to open its first Florida location in Naples (2355 Vanderbilt Beach Rd Unit 100, Naples, FL 34109) in October, co-franchisee Kelly Minucci told Business Debut. She and her husband Anthony have plans to open three locations in total.

Soluna Restaurant and Bar

Soluna Restaurant and Bar is set to open in Naples (403 Bayfront Pl, Naples, FL 34102) by October 15, bringing a new upscale dining experience to the area, Chef William Andraca reported to Business Debut.

Floza Craft Pizza

Floza Craft Pizza, a new wood-fired pizza restaurant, is set to open in early September in Palm Beach Gardens (6271 PGA Boulevard unit 207, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418). Ownership shared info with Business Debut in early August.

Mr. Tophat's Tasty Taters

Mr. Tophat's Tasty Taters, is set to launch in Palm Beach County by the end of the month, CFO and sous chef Brian Stone told Business Debut in early August.

Olive U Mediterranean Grill

Olive U Mediterranean Grill is set to open its sixth Palm Beach County location in Boynton Beach (7381 Boynton Beach Blvd #320, Boynton Beach, FL 33437) with an anticipated opening towards the end of November, the owner Abdul Aburmaieleh shared.

Koto Asian Bistro

Coconut Creek (5463 Lyons Rd suite e, Coconut Creek, FL 33073) is getting a new Japanese and Asian fusion spot, ownership revealed in August.

Family Bakery and Restaurant

Family Bakery and Restaurant, a new Caribbean-inspired eatery, is set to open at 4831 Dixie Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, according to owner Martine Pierre.

Baraffee Cafe

Baraffee Cafe, a new European-style cafe, is in the early stages of development in Fort Lauderdale (815 NE 13th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304), co-owner Piter Botta told Business Debut.
