MELBOURNE, FL - Lynora’s is bringing its celebrated Italian cuisine to Melbourne and Delray Beach with two new locations planned for 2025 and 2026. Founded in 1976 by Raffaele and Maria Abbenante, with their son Angelo Abbenante as a co-owner, Lynora’s has grown from its roots in Lake Worth into a South Florida favorite. Angelo Abbenante told Business Debut that they plan to open on New Year's Eve in Melbourne, while Delray Beach will be in April 2026. We came across the story first in What Now.

The Melbourne location, located at 529 E New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901, welcomes diners with approximately 130 seats. Meanwhile, the Delray Beach location, located at 630 NE Fifth Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33483, offers 135 seats and a spacious 2,000-square-foot patio.

The Delray Beach restaurant will be housed in a historic freestanding house transformed into a restaurant with an Italian garden vibe, complete with Italian umbrellas in the front. Angelo noted, “We're very excited, we actually took over a house. It's a little different from what we usually take over, meaning it's unique. It's a freestanding building in a downtown area.” The property also boasts more than 25 parking spots, a rare find in Delray Beach.

Both locations will serve Lynora’s signature full-service Italian menu, featuring entrees like beef short rib genovese, vitello piccata, and snapper Lynora. Pizza lovers can enjoy options like cacio e pepe, wild shroom and ham, white pepperoni, and prosciutto e rucola, while pasta fans will find delights like short rib ravioli, gnocchi, and penne al pollo. “We’re still going to have our famous meatball Mondays with $3 meatballs all day, plus our famous brunch, just like at our other locations,” Abbenantesaid.

Each restaurant will offer a full liquor menu and maintain the same operating hours: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on weekends, seven days a week.

A Family Legacy in Italian Dining

Abbenante grew up immersed in the restaurant business. “My parents were immigrants from Italy and started the business in 1976. I learned everything from washing dishes to bartending, managing the floor, and eventually running a restaurant,” he shared. After his parents retired, Abbenante reopened Lynora’s on Clematis Street in 2012 and has steadily expanded the brand to six locations, with Melbourne and Delray Beach marking the seventh and eighth.
