Milkshake Factory Opening First Florida Location in Riverview
The growing dessert franchise is bringing hand-spun milkshakes to the greater Tampa-area.

Milkshake Factory is expanding to Florida for the first time, with a new location set to open in Riverview this spring. Franchisee Michael Longman told Business Debut that final inspections are underway, and the grand opening is currently planned for early May.
Located at 10446 Stelling Dr, Riverview, FL 33578, the 1,693-square-foot space will seat 16 guests inside with additional seating available outside. They will be in the same plaza as Mission BBQ, the coming-soon Taco Dirty, and other businesses. The shop will serve hand-spun, homemade milkshakes, sundaes, and a selection of gourmet chocolates based on family recipes.
The Milkshake Factory was founded by Dana Edwards Manatos, the great-granddaughter of Greek immigrants Charlie and Orania Sarandou, who started the family's original chocolate business. Inspired by a college report on growing the family brand, Manatos launched the Milkshake Factory as a way to evolve the legacy into a modern dessert destination.
This new location in Riverview will mark the company’s first step into Florida, with its roots and many locations in the Pittsburgh area.
