New Jamaican Restaurant to Open in Tamarac This Summer
Pot Ah Love Jamaican Restaurant will open this summer in Tamarac, offering traditional Jamaican dishes like oxtail and curry goat.

Pot Ah Love Jamaican Restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Tamarac this summer, bringing authentic Jamaican cuisine to the community. Owner Marion Hall, formerly known as Lady Saw—the Grammy-winning Jamaican singer turned minister—shared with Business Debut that the restaurant is aiming for a June or July opening.
Located at 6716 N University Dr, Tamarac, FL 33321, the takeout-style eatery will serve a range of traditional Jamaican and Caribbean dishes including curry goat, oxtail, rice and peas, brown stew chicken, fried and steamed fish, boiled dumplings, and salted mackerel. The menu will reflect Hall’s deep roots in Jamaican culinary traditions.
Beyond food, Pot Ah Love plans to serve the community in other ways. For Christmas, Hall says the restaurant will bake cakes and distribute food and desserts to those in need, continuing her commitment to giving back.
The restaurant is currently under construction and will be focused on takeout service when it launches. For updates, follow owner Minister Marion Hall on Instagram.
