Old Savannah Distillery Bringing Food and Spirits to Savannah
Shrimp and grits, skillet cornbread, and cocktails are coming to a new multi-use restaurant and bar in Savannah.

Old Savannah Distillery is on its way to Savannah, a new concept from the company behind Old Town Trolley Tours, Chief Operating Officer Charlie Brazil shared with Business Debut. The multi-use venue is being developed at 234 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31401 and will combine storytelling, southern cuisine, and a robust spirits program under one roof. We first came across the plans in the Savannah Agenda.
The expansive space will feature a 200-seat main floor restaurant, a 100-seat mezzanine, two stages for live entertainment, and four bars. A full-scale open kitchen will serve higher-end southern fare, with menu items like skillet cornbread, shrimp and grits, collard greens, fried chicken, sandwiches, and more available for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
In addition to the restaurant, the facility will include a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes, as well as two distinct retail spaces. One will serve as a package store offering white-label spirits in collaboration with St. Augustine Distillery, while the other will house mixology tools, branded merchandise, gifts, and other novelties.
Substantial completion of construction is expected by June, with a grand opening targeted for either Q4 of this year or early Q1 of 2025.
