Peachey’s Baking Co Bringing Donuts and Pretzels to Sarasota
Yeast-raised donuts, fresh pretzels, and Counter Culture Coffee are coming to Sarasota at two Peachey’s shops.

Peachey’s Baking Co is preparing to open two bakery shops in Sarasota, specializing in yeast-raised donuts, hand-twisted soft pretzels, and specialty coffee, founder and co-owner Nate Peachey shared with Business Debut. The brand originated in 2007 as a pop-up at farmers markets under the name Amish Baking Company. Nate’s brother Sam joined in 2017, and the brand name evolved to Peachey’s Baking Co, a nod to their parents’ former home bakery, Peachey’s Home Bakery.
Since then, Peachey’s has gained a strong following for their donuts and pretzels and continues to appear at state fairs across the country, including Minnesota, North Carolina, and New York.

The first of their two Sarasota locations will debut May 1 in The Landings shopping center at 4800 S Tamiami Trl, Sarasota, FL 34231. It will be a carry-out focused setup with outdoor seating.
Their second location is aiming for a June opening at 999 Cattlemen Rd Unit E, Sarasota, FL 34232. This unit will be larger and include indoor seating for a full café-style experience.
In addition to their donuts and pretzels, both shops will serve Counter Culture Coffee, a specialty roaster based in North Carolina.
