Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co is preparing to open its first Georgia location in Duluth later this year. Business partners Wahaj Imam and Danish Dharani are aiming for an August or September debut, with construction set to begin soon at 2645 N Berkeley Lake Rd NW, Suites 221 and 223, Duluth, GA 30096. Business Debut spoke with Imam after noticing filings with the county of Gwinnett. What Now Atlanta reported on the plans initially.

At 3,600 square feet, the Duluth café will be the largest Qamaria location to date, featuring seating for around 140 guests. Plans include booth seating, tables, and two lounge areas, with a prep-style kitchen offering baked goods and cakes alongside a menu focused on coffees, teas, smoothies, and refreshers.

The space is designed as a family-friendly alternative to nightlife venues, with late hours—open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 2 a.m. on weekends. Imam and Dharani, both wedding photographers with Chromalogue Studios, shared that the concept was inspired by their own need for a late-night space to unwind after events—one that didn’t revolve around alcohol or smoking.

Their shared vision found alignment with the Qamaria brand, which they’ve now brought to Georgia with plans to build a welcoming environment for conversation, relaxation, and high-quality drinks.
