Quincy’s Original Lobster Rolls is bringing a taste of New England to Florida with a location opening soon in Sarasota. The restaurant will debut in Waterside Place at 1580 Lakefront Dr Unit 100, Sarasota, FL 34240, in the former home of CROP, neighboring Osteria 500 and just a few doors down from Good Liquid Brewing Co and Agave Bandido.

Co-founder Greg Levinson told Business Debut that the Sarasota location is aiming to open in the next few months and will offer the brand’s signature lineup of lobster-focused favorites. Expect classic lobster rolls, the warm, butter-drenched Connecticut-style roll, lobster salads, lobster mac and cheese, crab rolls, clam chowder, lobster bisque, fries and chips and more. A preview of the Sarasota menu can be found here.

The brand originated in 2015 when a group of Philadelphia-area friends visited Maine and became inspired by the region’s iconic lobster rolls. Wanting to bring that flavor to their usual summer destination at the Jersey Shore, they opened their first Quincy’s in Cape May, New Jersey. The concept quickly grew to include locations in Sea Isle City, the Ocean City and Wildwood boardwalks, Avalon, Stone Harbor, and two restaurants in Cape May, along with a year-round store in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Levinson, now a Sarasota resident, said he’s excited to bring Quincy’s to Florida and become part of the area’s growing dining community.
