Retro House Asian Bistro Reopening February 8th in Ybor City
Tampa’s Retro House Asian Bistro is set to reopen with indoor seating, dim sum, and a Hong Kong tea house-inspired aesthetic.

Retro House Asian Bistro, which has been operating as a takeout-only dim sum café and Asian bistro, is officially reopening with indoor dining on February 8th, ownership confirmed with Business Debut.
Located at 934 E Henderson Ave, Tampa, FL 33605 in a historic 1965 building in Ybor City, they have preserved its original flooring and embraced a polished retro aesthetic inspired by Hong Kong tea houses. Retro House will feature a full coffee bar, roasting its own beans and serving espresso drinks, lattes, Americanos, hot and iced teas, with a focus on Chinese teas.

The menu will continue to highlight dim sum and Asian fusion dishes, offering an expanded dine-in experience.
Retro House is owned by Joseph Hixon and his wife Meishan Lu, along with Paul Venghaus and his wife Kai Liou, who also own Felicitous Coffee in Tampa (website).
