Side-by-Side Restaurants to Open in Sarasota This Summer

Two side-by-side restaurant concepts are coming to Sarasota, with Doughboy Swift set to open in May and Maso following in late summer. Located at 2881 Clark Rd, Sarasota, FL 34231, the restaurants will have separate entrances, dining rooms, and distinct atmospheres.

Business Debut first came across the plans via Restaurants in Sarasota and later confirmed the details in an interview with co-owner Jeremy Rice, who is opening both businesses alongside co-owner Broc Smith.

Doughboy Swift will be a New York-style pizza shop offering pies, wings, garlic knot sliders, fresh pasta, and salads. It will have about 50 indoor seats and its own outdoor seating area. Learn more at doughboyswift.com.

Maso, the second concept, will feature a higher-end menu focused on steaks, seafood, and oysters. It will seat approximately 40–50 guests and is aiming for a late July or early August debut.

Once both are open, guests can expect a full liquor bar connecting the two concepts.
