Through the Vine is preparing to open next month on the ground floor of the Eon Squared residential building in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village. The neighborhood wine bar will be located at 444 NE 7th St #1a, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 and will offer seating for about 100 guests between its indoor and outdoor areas.

Co-owner and sommelier Jason Javens told Business Debut that the wine list will be a constantly evolving “living list,” with bottles curated from around the globe. The aim is to introduce guests to wines they may not typically know of or try, with staff trained to make thoughtful recommendations tailored to individual preferences.

The food menu will feature Caribbean and Mediterranean influences, with items like tapas, panini sandwiches, flatbreads, charcuterie, salads, and desserts. For those not sipping wine, Through the Vine will also offer craft beers and seltzers.

Javens is launching the business alongside hospitality professionals Isaac Benharoche, Eli Goldshtein, and Troy Cabrera. Follow the concept as it nears its May debut on Instagram and explore Javens’ playful wine musings at wineseeker.
