Thunderzone Family Entertainment Center is expanding to Carrollton with a new 38,500-square-foot facility, following the success of its Douglasville location, which opened in 2014. Ownership shared the news with Business Debut in an interview, and the story was first reported by Jonathan Dockery of The City Menus.

The new location will feature 20 lanes of regular bowling, 8 lanes of duckpin bowling, an arcade with VR games, and at least two golf simulator bays.

Alongside its entertainment offerings, Thunderzone will include a full restaurant and bar, serving beer, wine, and spirits, as well as classic comfort foods like burgers, fries, wings, and chicken sandwiches. Seating will be available throughout the facility, with high-top tables near the bar and additional seating for guests to dine and relax.

Thunderzone is set to take over the space currently occupied by Big Lots at 1004 Bankhead Hwy Ste A-3, Carrollton, GA 30117. Construction is expected to begin on April 15, with completion targeted for early November. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
