VC Coffee is relocating from Hayesville, NC, to Hiawassee, GA, with a grand opening set for April 12th at 120 W River St Suite B, Hiawassee, GA 30546, manager Hannah Chriswell shared. The shop will likely offer a soft opening with curbside and mobile ordering in early March before fully debuting its new space. The North Carolina location will close on March 1st after operating since June 2024.
The concept is tied to Veteran Contracting, a veteran-owned business specializing in commercial and residential construction. VC Coffee extends this veteran-first approach by offering a 20% discount to veterans, active-duty military, and first responders.
The menu will feature specialty coffee, teas, bubbly drinks, and loaded teas, along with pastries and light bites, including cake pops, muffins, and coffee cakes. Initially, the food menu will focus on waffle breakfast sandwiches, biscuits, and biscuit sandwiches, with possible future additions like grits bowls, breakfast burritos, salads, wraps, and sandwiches.
